Insulin resistance?
I have been reading a bit on the threads where people have trouble losing weight because of insulin resistance. I think they were saying the liver produces too much because of a malfunction of some sort in your body? there was a name for it..How do you inow if you have it and is there a natural way to ease the symptoms?

Low fat or regular?
Just curious as i tend to not stick with one or the other and would like some input on your thoughts. As long as you stay within portions does it really matter if its low fat ie mayo, sour cream, milk and cheese and wheat bread. I have done pretty good on watching the sugar, but am having trouble with the salt in take. quite discouraged
6 weeks ago I started mfp and each day I log no matter what. Every time I close out the day it will say that if I continue to eat this way I will be 10-15 pounds lighter in 5 weeks. I am going on my 6th day and finally figured out how to ask a question on here lol. I monitor my calories throughout the day and when it tells me after my choice of food, that I have lets say only 475 calories remaining and still have dinner to go, I hit the elipitical to burn as much as I can plus I add any extra activies…
