My NSV of the month...no, the year!
I hope this is the right place to post this. I haven't ever started a topic in the general boards before, but I thought that my story might help inspire someone who needed some inspiration today. I got my blood work in the mail yesterday. I can now consider myself off cholesterol meds, as my blood lipid profile was all…
The results are in! How did you do?
Well, I'm down from 153.5 lbs to 148.5 lbs and lost 1/4 inch of my hips and neck only. But, I'm finally losing weight after bouncing around from 151 to 154 lbs for the last couple of months, and that's huge to me. This challenge helped keep me accountable. How did everyone else do? Day 1 check in
I'm psyched up for this challenge! Since joining MFP in April of this year I've found that these challenge groups really help me stay on track. What are your challenges and successes?
This groups seems a bit quiet. I thought I would ask what you all are finding that is working for you, diet or fitness-wise, and what you are finding are your big challenges in this 30lb summer challenge. I'll start off.. My challenges: 1. FIBER: getting enough fiber into my diet through my food is sometimes difficult, as…
Newbie -- hi all!
Hi everyone! I'm 45, a mother of 5, although my "baby" is 14 now, and been battling my excess weight all my adult life. I noticed after I hit 40 that any new pounds went on my belly ABOVE my belly button! Horrors!! I'm showing signs of peri-menopause, and my doctor confirms that based on the signs. I have, oh, I honestly…
