1/2way to Goal
History: Surgery in Nov last year, then allergic reaction requiring steroids, then holidays. Back on the wagon mid Feb due to being 155 lbs. No pics. I don't get pics taken. Super happy much of my closet is again fitting. Happier I'm wearing some smalls again and can again purchase size 7's. Here's my Weekday schedule…

I love ___________ on a sunny day
watching the dandelions turn into seeds and fly away in the wind hanging out at the beach with a book, a cup of iced tea, and my family around me

Restaurant Preferences
Very happy tonight. Ate @ Longhorn steakhouse, Sierra chicken less than 500 cal portion, salad (no dressing, but 1 tbsp cheese and added some onion), piece of bread, and mixed veggies and it all came to (drum roll please) 463 cals. Sodium was high but I save my entire day's allotment basically for this. So, here's the big…

Anyone else considering tummy tuck after weight loss
I'm 42 yo, have 3 kids so I'm having some issues with skin sort of hanging off my abdomen. After I get to my "ultimate goal weight" I think I'm going to bite the bullet and have a tummy tuck to get rid of the extra skin. Other than the skin, I think I'll look OK (15 minutes on my abs a day sees to that) Opinions? Anyone…

Supermoon Saturday: Biggest moon of the year
Saturday (May 5) at 11:35 p.m. EDT. , though the moon may still appear full to skywatchers on the day before and after the actual event.. So walk out and check it out. Should be pretty spectacular. If you are near some falls, you can check and see if you get a "moonbow". Think rainbow at dusk. (Unfortunately it will make…

My *kitten* hurts, my arms hurt
*kitten* from yesterday. Arms from today (using weights walking). And I didn't meet my exercise goal today because I had a bit of diabetic get dizzy thing start so I had to stop, eat 2 pieces of hard candy, and then I just finished up with walking, stretching, and sit-ups. And it took longer than my normal routine so I'll…

My tiny victory
1 Mile time went from 12 min to 10.5 min. 3 miles = 31.5 Such a tiny victory but still so happy. Working on getting back to 8.5 min where I was before November surgery (though I still only run 30 min).

Pain in the *kitten* Husband
Is your husband ever just the biggest pain in the *kitten* you can think of? I'll start. My 13yo son is just a joy to be around lately (it will pass, I have an older son and he did the same thing) and so has suddenly decided housework is below him. This leads to frequent heated "discussions" between he and I on…

Freebie Foods
Does anyone else consider certain foods "freebies"? Not that I eat them by the pound, but if I'm hungry and over my limit I will eat celery, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli or tomatoes and pretty much not worry about the extra cals (although admittedly they are low cal foods anyway). Anyone else?

I Never Get My Picture Taken
I look so different in a picture than I do in the mirror. I get completely discouraged when I see myself in a picture. I had an Xmas pic taken 2 years ago (Good Lord was it horrible. I couldn't even photoshop it to make the family look good :embarassed: ) Other than that it has literally been years since I had a photo…
