Hello All,
I am Lisa in FL. Current weight, 145 lbs. Height 5'1". Age 42. As a girl I was anorexic and bulimic and have struggled much of my life with eating disorders. As an adult I have high blood pressure, high cholestorel, and am a diet/exercise controlled type 2 diabetic. I also had a heart attack at 35. Last year in October I weighed about 135 (size 5 or 7 - not tight clothing - I seldom appear heavy because I carry a lot of muscle), but I had surgery in November and while recovering I popped up to 155.
It's very, very difficult for me to loose weight. I eat less than 1000 calories most days (Sunday is my cheat day - I have to have a cheat day) and exercise (cardio and light weights) at least 5 days a week to loose 1/2 - 1 lb a week.. My hopes for this site are that it will work consistently. I was using another site to track diet/exercise (I have to track or I cheat soooooo bad) but it kept bugging out so I decided to switch. I especially like the carb tracker. Watching fiber and carbs are a big part of my life as are implementing natural beta blockers, blood sugar regulators, appetite suppressents, metabolism boosters, vitamin rich foods, etc. so I don't have to take medication.
