Circuit Style Boot Camp Training Ideas
This summer I am running a circuit style boot camp for myself and some friends once a week. I typically do a boot camp three times a week with a trainer (I recently have started running the class when she's not available), but over the summer she is only running classes twice a week, so I want to get an additional work out…

Mud Run
I was just wondering if anyone has worn their Fitbit during a mud run event. I am doing a 5k Dirty Dash on June 11th and am not sure if my Charge HR will survive it. Any experiences or advice?

Syncing Issue? Steps not Correct in MFP
I have my activity level set to sedentary, as I work at a desk job. I've had my Fitbit since Christmas, and typically end up getting more calories once I hit about 2,500 steps in a day. I have been lifting…

Cleanses, Fad Diets, and Social Media
So lately I have been seeing a lot of people on my Facebook news feed who are doing "cleanses" or "detoxes" and it really annoys me. Then I read the comments on their statuses, and there is no advice to stop doing a cleanse, only things like "Good for you!" and "You can do it!" and I think, how are there so many clueless…

Rest Periods?
I am in Phase 3 of NROL4W, and I seriously love it. I did Stronglifts for a year and got bored - I love that the NROL4W workouts change so frequently. My question is about rest periods. In Phase 3, the rest periods are 105 seconds. For a lot of the lifts, this seems reasonable and I usually feel I need that amount of rest.…

The Insane Inflatable 5k
http://insaneinflatable5k.com/ Has anyone else heard of this race? It's new this year and looks like tons of fun! It looks like it's basically running 5k with a bunch of cleverly designed bouncy castles thrown into the mix. Hilarious. I'm planning on doing the Lansing, Michigan one in August.
