It works!
A bit of a non-scale victory for me. In the past six weeks I've only lost .5 pound but my body fat went down 2%! I've been lifting and doing cardio plus eating what seems like a lot of calories! And today I did 60 push-ups - on my toes - not my knees. I'm so proud of myself it's dumb.

I'm weaning my almost one year old daughter. I've heard rumors that after weaning, 5-10 pounds will "magically" melt off of me. I'm about 5 pounds over my pre-preggers weight. Victory!
I'm still a few pounds away from pre-pregnancy weight but, ALL of my pants fit finally! My 11th month old is still nursing a few times a day and I'm hoping I'll drop a few more pounds when she weans. NSV - back in my pants
I'm still a few pounds away from pre-pregnancy weight but ALL of my pre-preggers pants fit again. I have an awesome 11 month old daughter who still nurses a few times a day - I'm told the pounds will come off when she weans. But for today, I'm doing a happy dance in my old pants! Yay!

How do I reset my brain?
I'm 5'6" and 144 pounds. I'm trying to lose the last 10 baby pounds. I've been told that they will be easier to lose once I wean my daughter (which I'm hoping will be in a month or two). Best protein powder?
What's your favorite protein powder? My trainer suggested using it for my afternoon snack. I cannot have whey protein - it makes me super gassy! And I'm trying to avoid soy - too estrogenic and I'm still nursing. Any suggestions?

I'm somewhat new to the idea of Eat More to Weigh Less - but it makes perfect sense to me. I'm 39 years old, 5'6" 150 ish pounds and still nursing my 8 month old daughter.
