Eggs: Carbs or no?
So I have seen mixed entries for eggs. Some say 1 carb, some say 0. The eggs I have in my fridge say 0 carbs according to their nutritional label. Should I consider that label to be a filthy liar, or are eggs legit 0 carbs? They're large eggs if that helps.

Vitamins/Supplements
What ones (brands included please) should I be taking? The vitamin/supplement aisle at the pharmacy is daunting, and there are entire stores dedicated to them. I am completely lost as to what ones are actually beneficial, and what ones are the same as flushing my money down the toilet. On top of what types to take, I know…

Is this a result of keto?
Here's my backstory: I may (or may not) have PCOS. I have many of the symptoms, but have never been tested (my doctor won't test unless we have fertility problems, and the OOP cost for me is ~1,500). One of the unpleasant things I have going on is unwanted facial hair. I have a dark mustache and am well on my way to…

Pinterest
Is anyone on Pinterest? Here is a link to my board: http://www.pinterest.com/jjfuller2/keto I was hoping to get other people pinning on there recipe ideas and what-not. If you want to be able to pin let me know! I'll need your user name so I can follow/add you and you'll have to "follow" me (username jjfuller2) I'm hoping…

Back Again
About two years ago I used MFP religiously, and I had excellent results. I had just gotten engaged, and I wanted to be able to buy the wedding dress of my dreams. I did the hard work, and I bought the dress. And sometime after buying it and the actual wedding I lost determination. My dress came in and it didn't fit.…

Need help buying a fitbit
I was surprised to see the Fitbit line at my Best Buy (for the same amount being sold on the internet). However, they have the regular Fitbit as well as the Fitbit zip. There's a 40 dollar price difference, and I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of each. Zip Pro: Small, bluetooth data right to my phone, Zip Con: Doesn't…

Bad in-laws?
I thought I had pretty good relationship with my FIL until I was informed he's been telling my fiance not to put any more money into our wedding because we "won't last". I guess he thinks I'm a good person, just doesn't think we'll actually get married. My fiance and I have been dating for 2.5 years and it will be 3.5 by…

How it works
The premise is very simple, so hopefully it doesn't get too complicated :) If you have clothes that are too big just simply upload a picture of them as well as any pertinent information (brand/size) as well as if you are looking for any monetary compensation. Please be descriptive in your subject line for people who are…

Parents-what would you do?
I'll try explaining this as best as possible. I have an eight year old soon-to-be step-daughter. She spends 2-4 nights a week with us. We live in a quiet neighborhood close to an elementary school, and there are a ton of kids to play with. My fiance and I are both believers in "let kids be kids" and we have no problem with…

NSV: Grocery shopping
When I first started "dieting" I bought everything reduced fat, fat free, diet, or low fat. I wouldn't even consider buying "normal" foods; afterall, I was trying to lose weight. The problem started coming in trying to hit my calories. I was consistently coming in hundreds of calories below my goal (1200), but if I ate a…

Help me make one of my favorite foods healthy!
I love creamed cucumbers! For those that don't know it's sour cream, cucumbers, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Should I sub greek yogurt for the sour cream?

How do calories and fat work?
I know it takes 3,500 extra calories per pound and to lose weight you have to use more than you eat. My questions: is there a limit to how much you can eat in one sitting before your body starts to store it? For example, if you ate a 2,000 calorie meal will your body store anything above 1,000 for later? Where do calories…

New Clothing Swap Group
I have created a new group for swapping clothes. I have seen many people on here comment that they avoid buying new clothes, or buying a size too small, because they don't know how long they'll be that size. That only leads to people wearing poorly fitting clothing (either too big or too small). The group is fairly simple:…

Dieting WTFs?
Okay, so we've all heard at least one, "If you do X for Y days you can lose Z pounds!" Normally these type of "quick fix diets" make me go, "WTF?" I'd love to hear all the zany diets you've come across by so called "diet experts".

Dream Wedding dresses
What's your dream wedding dress? Mine is Alfred Angelo style 801 This dress looks amazing on me at my current size of a 16, so I can't wait until I am a size 6 or 8 :)

NSV Wedding Dress
I am getting married on July 6, 2013 and have gotten the wedding dress bug. I think I started shopping back in January, shortly before the engagement was official (I found my ring before he proposed). Anyway, I found a dress I really liked, but the floor model didn't fit. For those of you who have gone wedding dress…

Zombies, run!
Anyone do this? Thoughts? Comments? The biggest downfall for me right now is that this isn't linked to GPS so I don't get a "turn left right now!" kind of deal. It also doesn't clock speed at all, so I wish it really pushed me to run faster. That, and I'm not a huge zombie fan. I am personally super excited for the…

Workout needed
Okay folks here's the deal. I'm not super good at thinking of what to do, and I'm pretty decent at following instructions. I really want to start working out effectively, but have no idea where to start. At home I'm following along with DVD's, but at the gym I just stick with the cardio because I know what to do (and they…

Laundry Day :D
I was getting ready for work today when I realized all my black pants were in the dirty laundry. Normally, this wouldn't have been a big deal as I would find the "cleanest" pair in there, Febreeze it down, and call it a day. Unfortunately, with two cats who believe any addition to the dirty laundry basket is extra…

My math doesn't agree with MFP
MFP says I should net 1200 calories a day for 2 lb/wk weight loss. I started reading forum posts about TDEE and figured I'd check it out. I ran it through different calculators and came back with a TDEE of roughly 2,300. My BMR is 1670. I would think I would want to consume between 1700 and 2300 to lose weight, so why does…

1 month results
These results are from almost one month of calorie counting. I did start doing the 30 day shred on July 1, so I'm hoping to see even bigger results in the beginning of August. There is a 10 lb difference here, and although I didn't take my measurements I was a size 16 pants in the first photo and wearing a size 13 juniors…

New Clothes
When do you buy new clothes? I started at a size 16 and am down to a size 14. My goal size is a size 8. I'm finding though, that I only have one or two size 14 pants. I end up wearing my size 16 pants quite a bit, although they are too big on me. The end result is clothes that look frumpy on me. My shirts hang on me and my…

How much pain is normal?
I did the first day of 30 day shred yesterday and I am SORE. I'm not talking a slight uncomfort, I'm talking like not being able to move. I can't walk down stairs with out using the railing as a crutch (pressing down on it to lesson pressure on my legs) and I can't sit on the toilet without serious help (either my fiance…

Fluctuations during the day.
I was wondering what "normal" daily fluctuations are. I have noticed a difference of up to 10 lbs depending on what time during the day I weigh myself. Today, I weighed myself at 8:30pm and was 187.5. I took a nap before work and weighed in again after my nap (I compulsively weigh myself...) and I was 194.5. That's 7…
