Step trackers + running
I recently got a garmin vivofit to track my daily steps. It is hooked up to MFP and gives me extra calories if I get enough steps in. This usually happens if I go running. Getting started... part 2!

Work outs for when you're sore.
In the past few weeks I started to do some strength training, but it leaves me sore for 2 sometimes 3 days after. What kind of work outs can I safely do on my sore days?

Going from 1 lb per week to .5
I was reading when you get closer to your goal, its smart to make your loss a little slower. But, at what point do you do that? I've lost 35 pounds and have about 12-17 more to go (still not sure!) At what point would I move to .5 a week?

Missing a day in 30 day shred

shin splints?
I've had what feels like constant shin splints for two days now. I am pretty sure its not even from running, but from walking around Chicago in flat sandals a few days ago. Anyways, my question is do I rest until I'm not in pain anymore or can I push through it and run?

six month progress
Between being a full time student and working a few days a week, I never thought I would come as far as I have! 25 pounds gone from my body! It may not look like much to some people but for me it means everything

So I'm leaving for the gym and realize I'm out of water bottles. I remember seeing a half drank one in the fridge. Grab it, fill it, and go on my way. Start week 5 day 2 on c25k. After running 8 hellacious minutes, I go for a nice drink of water only to find that the half filled part was actually VODKA.

husband won't eat healthy
