Looking to up my running quantity/quality
I think I’m finally back to full fitness following my injury so now want to up my game a bit. I was thinking of weeks looking something like this (this is an example): Tues: club run – either 8/9 miles or 4x1500m Thurs: club run – intervals (we usually do something like 60 second sprints or whatever) Sat: 5k race or hill…

Anyone want to be in my music video? Course you do! :)
I’ve done a Christmas song this year for a compilation and I’ve decided to make a video for it. I’m after people to film clips for me to add in. Here’s the track for you to download: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/22158488/Adam Follett - we used the sirens for light.mp3 It’s maybe not quite finished yet as I have a…

Great North Run travel
Not long now! I'm staying in Durham the night before with another runner and our two better halves.. What's the best plan for getting to the start Sunday morning.. I believe the race starts 10.30am, where is best to park.. should the ladies drop us off at the start and then drive to the end?

Weight loss / weight gain conundrum..
Bit of advice needed, probably what you've had to give 100s of times before sorry :( I've lost quite a lot of weight over the last few years.. from about 16.5st to 11st. In this time I do zero weight training, so I'm left looking very skinny, very thin arms but with flabby skin. I started weight training about 3 weeks…

Insanity workout/that old belly fat thread..
Sorry, I know this has probably been posted a million times, but I'm a bit stuck what to do. I'm 5ft 11 and I used to weight about 16.5st and have got down to 11st. I did this from eating less/heathier (though not *that* healthily) and exercise-wise 100% through cardio. I started lifting weights for about 3 weeks, but then…

Half marathon training
Firstly, just entered for the London Marathon through a ballot - wish me luck! Also, I've entered the Great North Run and guaranteed a place. I've been running 10ks for just over a year now, my last one clocking in just under 45 minutes. I've never run more than a 10k at a time, but have now entered this half-marathon. I…

Diet and fitness plan help
Hello all, I've lost about 4.5 stone over the past fews years and I'm now at 167lbs. My family say I'm too skinny, though I think they're just comparing me to my old self. I think I look skinny clothed, and most of my body but still have quite a bit of belly fat. I don't think it's lose skin, as it still "wobbles" a bit.…

10k in March
Hello all, I did a 10k yesterday in Sheffield and got 57:42 which I'm happy with, but know I can do better. I found out about it 2 weeks ago, so did a 2 week training plan. Prior to that, my only exercise was football and walking. The next 10k I'm doing isn't until March, so I have ages to prepare, and I want to run sub 50…

Net calories..
So I've input all the calories I'm having today (meals and snacks only, I'm sure 2 or 3 cuppas will be added) and the exercise I'm doing. Leaves net calories of 558! Is that bad, should I eat more.. but then what if I don't feel hungry?!

10k marathon in under 2 weeks
So I've stupidly decided to do the local 10k in 12 days time... I've done one before, with 3 days notice, and ran it in an hour. Was quite happy with that, to say I had no training (though I was regularly playing competitive football once or twice a week). This time round, I have been too busy for football... went for a…

Holá! (from Sheffield)
Ok, I'm not from Spain, just trying to be impressive. I'm from Sheffield. I sit on my *kitten* all day in an office.. I think go home and mostly sit on my *kitten* writing music, recording music or playing Xbox, Sometimes get off my *kitten* to play football and band practise. Now on a health kick and planning to exercise…
