Can you be diagnosed with both? - eating disorder question
Can someone be diagnosed with both binge-eating disorder and anorexic tendencies? I'm a bit worried about a friend of mine, who will have a day where she'll eat way, way too much, and then the next day she won't eat anything, like she's punishing herself or something, and I don't know what's going on.

Eating Disorders: anorexia nervosa
From everything I've ever heard and/or read about anorexia nervosa (or most other EDs, for that matter) one major criteria is being underweight. Does this mean if a person is not underweight, but they display other signs of anorexia, they are still not considered anorexic?

Weighing myself: Which number should I use?

I find that I have less food slip-ups if..
I tell myself I "don't" eat certain foods rather than thinking I "can't" because they're bad for me or something. That's how I quit soda cold-turkey and eat way less sweets than I used to. Just thought I'd share :)

Calcium in my diet
I really need more calcium in my diet. Is there a way to get a significant amount of calcium in my diet without drinking a glass of milk or having cereal (with milk) every day? Edit: I don't want to eat a lot of cheese, either, because I don't want to go over my daily fat allowance.

High-protein vegetarian foods?
I'm a vegetarian, and I want to try a low-carb high-protein diet to lose some fat around my midsection which is pretty much the only place I have left to lose fat in, I think. Right now I have a treadmill that I do power walking on (because I hate running, I burn out faster). I'm leaving for college soon, where there's a gym I get to use for free. So I just ate a big chocolate-glazed doughnut
A bit of a splurge, I guess. I don't usually treat myself. However, this has brought my calorie intake so far today up to 699, which is much higher than it usually is around 2pm. Will this hurt my weight loss / fat burning?

Is my treadmill wrong?
I walk on my treadmill at 4.0mph for about 50min every day, and my treadmill tells me I burn around 500cals doing that. However, when I log this into MFP, MFP tells me I only burned around 245cals.
