High-protein vegetarian foods?

I'm a vegetarian, and I want to try a low-carb high-protein diet to lose some fat around my midsection which is pretty much the only place I have left to lose fat in, I think. Right now, for protein, I eat nuts, yogurt, eggs, and occasionally dal (Indian lentil soup). What other foods could I be eating to get more protein?
** I am looking for foods that I could use as or in a meal, not snack foods.

Cottage cheese, eggs, Greek yogurt, protien powder.

I'm assuming since you put yogurt you're not vegan.

No, I'm not vegan I'm vegetarian. I'll edit the first post and put eggs on there, too, since I eat those almost regularly (how could I forget?)

oh hmm, on days I don't eat meat I usually just beef up pasta dishes or soup with veggies, and get protein from what I mentioned above. I haven't played are with many beans. there's tofu too.
