High-protein vegetarian foods?

I'm a vegetarian, and I want to try a low-carb high-protein diet to lose some fat around my midsection which is pretty much the only place I have left to lose fat in, I think. Right now, for protein, I eat nuts, yogurt, eggs, and occasionally dal (Indian lentil soup). What other foods could I be eating to get more protein?
** I am looking for foods that I could use as or in a meal, not snack foods.

Cottage cheese, eggs, Greek yogurt, protien powder.
I'm assuming since you put yogurt you're not vegan.0 -

No, I'm not vegan I'm vegetarian. I'll edit the first post and put eggs on there, too, since I eat those almost regularly (how could I forget?)

oh hmm, on days I don't eat meat I usually just beef up pasta dishes or soup with veggies, and get protein from what I mentioned above. I haven't played are with many beans. there's tofu too.0
