My flex is now 30 months Old and the battery is now needing a charge every couple of days which is annoying. Does anyone know what the lifetime of one of these should be as I don't see how battery can be replaced. TIA time for an Alta?

Eat well for Less Thursday BBC 1
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0520lz9/episodes/guide I am not a fan of Greg Wallace but saw news item about this on BBC Breakfast this morning.Given that so many people say it is to expensive to eat well /healthily and they don't have time to cook this could be interesting. They mentioned my key word....planning!

Tonights Food Unwrapped
Worth watching if you missed it on 4 OD. Shows how hard it is to discern natural from added sugar which is in so many processed foods and how it is better for you to eat fresh whole fibrous fruits rather than smoothies as demonstrated by Dr Aseem Malhotra

Fitbit changing my Very Active minutes
I have noticed that when I synch I can be given say 40 VAM and half an hour later this has been reduced to only 26 even though I kept a similar pace up on and off during my entire walk. Also the bar chart on the dashboard on my PC seems to level off at 50 for 45 minutes making me think it is not recording properly for…

wasting calories to be polite
Due to family issues I arrived at a friend's 60th birthday really late and missed the beige food luckily. I ate the cake to be polite and did not enjoy it. Then took the taste away with a slice of cucumber pickle LOL.Why after all these months did I feel obliged to eat it? After all one slice of cake will not cause me any…

party food
As I fight my way through the party food trying to find my usual list I am wondering why so much of it is beige, sweet and fatty. If we love our friends and family why do we give them stuff like this? Is it really "a treat"? I am thinking of the old TV prog "Honey we're killing the Kids" when I look in trollies and see…

Scales in UK
We have two pretty old sets of scales. We think we need to get some new ones as mine weigh us less than OH's! His are the type you get in the doctors with the gradations on the dial and it is VERY hard to read for me anyway. Mine are digital and I prefer them as you get an actual read off. I keep seeing ones that say they…

Cooking from scratch
Just wondering how many UK people do this- I rarely used any ready meals (the odd Pizza express pizza) and I always cook extra to freeze. Have on been on here 2 weeks but so far not found many people who do, though there is a group called Foodies Unite which appears to be US based I am planning to upload my recipes to…
