It's my birthday today.....
I weigh less on this birthday than I did for the previous TWELVE! How awesome is that?!? Granted I wasn't thin by any means back then either, I just wasn't quite this big. I started out on this being healthy adventure weighing in at 238 and I woke up this morning in the 180's:bigsmile:  Edited to add that…

back pain...due to running?
Ever since I started running (about 2 to 3 months ago) I have been having middle back pain. I was wondering if this is common? I don't want to stop running as I really enjoy it, but I am a bit concerned.

Got a really nice compliment
So its been about 8 months since I started this weight loss journey. I've lost 43 pounds and am definitely feeling better overall. However I'm still in the obese range for my BMI and when I look in the mirror, I tend to focus on the fact that I am still heavy. This morning as I'm getting ready to do my time on the…

Plus I ate like a pig (which is why I look like one). Since getting serious, I go to the gym 6 to 7 days a week. Seven of those days I do at least an hour on…

Best post workout snack and why?
I'm not usually hungry after working out, but I've read that it is a good idea to have a small snack anyway. I am thinking this might be a good idea for me since even though I'm not hungry directly after working out, I am suddenly starving within about an hour after. So what would be a good (and small) snack to have…

HIIT is definitely for me!
I stumbled across some article about this type of exercise and became very interested. I did a full out search (lots of good info from members on here about it) so that I could learn everything I could before trying it out. I started this week and have already lost 2 pounds in only 4 days of doing it. I am soooo psyched…

frustrated!
I have been sticking religiously to my allowed calories and have been exercising (30 minutes elliptical) everyday. Yet for the last 3 weeks I haven't lost a single pound. During my first 3 weeks I lost 11 pounds...now nothing! I don't want to give up, but I am really frustrated with this. I'm getting to the point where I'm…
