Possible to gain an inch on hips in 2 weeks?
As I appear to have. Granted, I am struggling a bit to get totally back on track after xmas, but even when I had a very severe 6 week binge eating period, my hips remained the same size. I am a bit bruised at the moment on my butt(fall) so don't know if that could contribute.

Vegetarians/Pescetarians Who Went Back To Meat?
How did it affect you? Did you gain weight/ lose weight? Did it have an impact on your digestion? I was vegetarian from 13 to 22, and have been pescetarian from 22 to the present(37) apart from a few brief phases of eating chicken again. My brother and mother both used to be vegetarian but went back to eating meat due to…

Should I Buy PS3 Or Xbox ?
I got a secondhand ps3(160gb) but find it is freezing badly with 2 of the 3 games I got (skyrim and uncharted). Is it normal for the ps3 to freeze a lot or have I got a faulty one? I am obviously planning on taking it back. I would have gone for the xbox 360 as there seems to be more games for it and I prefer the graphics,…

Best regime to get rid of some waist/belly flab?
I was pretty fit and tight until October when an emotional event triggered me to binge eat for the best part of 6 weeks. As a result, my weight shot up about 10Ibs and my formerly lean body now has some fat around the waist area which I despise. I got fit before by doing just cycling and elliptical, some walking. This…

For those who OVERATE xmas eve/day - by how much?
I went over by about 1500 xmas day and 700 xmas eve. But have gone over a few days since as well.
-
Xmas Will Be Ruined By My Weight.
I had not checked my weight in about 10 weeks until tonight. The reason? I had an emotional upheaval in October and spent about 5 or 6 weeks binge eating in a really major way, sometimes 7000 calories + a day. I also have issues with bulimia so it was not straight binge eating (and before you ask yes I do see someone about…

Anyone Else Have a Skinny Boyfriend/Partner ?
Does it affect you at all ? Do you ever feel self conscious if you eat more than they do ? Sort of struggle with this, as although I am lower end of BMI myself, my bf is pretty skinny and tends to be a lot more self controlled around food, which can make me feel really guilty about eating at times when he is not.

Possible to improve metabolism without gaining weight?
I notice many, many suggestions of weight training, heavy weights, but from what I have read, it will result in a higher weight, even if a leaner look. Is there no way to improve metabolism and keep it ticking over well without gaining too much muscle weight? I have heard of some gaining up to 20Ibs from heavy weight…

Lack Of Sleep + PMT = Binge Time/Rant.
Anyone else find that if they get like only 3 hours sleep, they literally get up with the urge to binge on all that is carby and bad? Sometimes, illness has had me getting up to go to the doctor morning surgery at before 9am, on less than 4 hours sleep, and whenever this has happened, I have ended up at least having toast…

Wanting Everything
Anyone else struggle with periods of time where they go into a store, and they want to basically have some of all of the less healthy foods? I mean, right now, shelves are loaded with various christmas things like stollen and marzipan, mince pies, christmas cake, and all manner of chocolate, and as with many things in my…

Running vs jogging for slimmer legs?
I am sure I once read that jogging will build larger legs whilst running(faster speeds) will slim legs down? Is there any truth to this?

Any Other Women Here Like Big Dinners?
Just wondering if I am alone, in tending to like a pretty big plateful of food in the evening, that might shock even some of the guys, lol ? Not talking unhealthy food, but rather just a lot of vegetables and variety. I tend to snack mostly in the daytime, and dinner is my only hot meal so I like to make it substantial.…

Pescetarians on 1200-1500 - let me see your diaries!
Getting bored of my food routine and am fairly sure with good planning and ideas I can cut down from my current intake without too much effort, so I am looking for some open diaries(preferably relatively healthy stuff) to have a nose through.

pre-bed meal - which is healthiest?
I have a small meal before bed, since I tend to get hungry between my dinner at 9.30pm and bedtime at around 3am, and I have recently changed it slightly but not sure which is better for a bedtime meal, or if it makes much difference at all. Formerly I had 1-2 raw carrots small apple 1 egg full fat yoghurt(only 5…

Adult Females - Should Ribs Show ?
I am just curious, having read that in healthy weight children, ribs should be clearly visible, if you are also meant to be able to see ribs in healthy adults, in particular females? I ask because the only time I am really able to see my ribs clearly(when not breathing in or stretching), as in, in a defined way, has been…

Upper body workout help please ?
In a way where I have a lean look with some muscle definition. My legs are sorted, as I do interval training on elliptical and stationary and cycle so my thighs are pretty solid, but I do little on my upper body. I have been toying with the idea of getting some 3kg and 4kg dumbells and doing some bodyweight exercises but…

Jillian Michaels - Your views?
I have come across a fair amount of criticism of her methods in training, and of her using poor and dangerous form in her Kettlebell DVDs, and also criticism of her series where apparently, she had a woman doing a 5k with a knee injury. Do you think her heart and her goals are in the right place, or that she is now…

Hungry within an hour of dinner
I am not overweight, never have been, just trying to get back to the 126 I am comfortable at, since I have had a bad month and gained about 7 Ibs. I have found for the longest time, that when I have my usual meal of salmon or eggs or cottage cheese, with a mixture of steamed vegetables, I am always hungry within an hour.…

Restrictive Diet Leads To Binge eating?
I used to pretty much eat what I wanted, not overeating, but if I fancied a mcflurry, I had one, If I wanted a baked potato with prawn mayo, I had it, and if I wanted a seafood linguini microwave meal, I had it. I find that since I became more into 'clean' eating, and avoiding microwave meals, and trying new foods because…

Do You Eat Processed Food?
I tried eliminating almost all processed food, but found it quite limiting, given I don't really cook, and I ended up binge eating, probably as a result of a lack of variety in my diet (think poached or boiled salmon, boiled tuna steak, vegetables, fruits, nuts, eggs, cottage cheese and greek yoghurt). Now I have low…

Is It Ever Your Experience ... ?
That the people who seem to encourage you the most, care the most, and speak the most words about how they are there for you, and will not leave your side and such things, are often the ones who run the fastest when a problem arises? Some people just need higher carbs ?
I cycle a lot and when I workout at the gym, I go at it pretty hard for around 60-90 minutes, burning between 600 and 900 calories a session. I used to eat a diet that included carbs such as wholegrain rice, quinoa, baked potatoes and sweet potatoes, and an average amount of protein but switched it months ago to being…
