As I appear to have.
Granted, I am struggling a bit to get totally back on track after xmas, but even when I had a very severe 6 week binge eating period, my hips remained the same size.
I am a bit bruised at the moment on my butt(fall) so don't know if that could contribute.

Bruising can cause temporary swelling.
If the inch appears with using a measuring tape, you may not be measuring in the exact place.
That's my two cents. Hope you heal fast!0 -

Measured the same place, unfortunately.
I guess if it is not as a result of swelling, I shall have to take accountability for my bad eating, and deal with it until it comes off again.0
