Women wearing a Polar HRM Wear-Link chest strap
The scant user guide shows it on a male - so I assume this goes right under my breasts? For those who use this type, what kind of bra do you wear? Because right where the guide shows that the transmitter part goes it right at the apex of my big underwire bra (I'm a DDD) and I can't see the two fitting together. Does this…

Is losing 2 lbs a week unrealistic under 200 lbs?
Today I went under 240 and so I redid my numbers. I dropped from 1240/day to 1220/day. And I'm only at 239. Except for one week recently when I didn't lose anything I've been losing the 2 lbs a week I want to lose. But then I realized, hey wait, I'm only at 1220....and you're not supposed to go below 1200 so......how's…

Exercise noob, I'm sorry - confused on "fat burn" on HRM
Using the Polar FT7 for reference. I'm partially dyslexic and ADD and can miss details, so it's no shock I'm all sorts of confused when I'm bombarded with complicated info. I do not at all understand the heart rate percentages talked about, and how to figure mine out. When I first put on the HRM before working out, my…

Does your HRM report higher or lower than MFP?
From what I'd read here, it usually sounds like those that use a HRM find that they burned more calories than MFP was saying. I was shocked today to find out that this wasn't true for me. But, it is my first time using my Polar FT7. Maybe the electrodes weren't wet enough, maybe it wasn't tight enough, maybe it wasn't in…

Having trouble finding data on Chinese steamed shrimp & veg
I'm googling my butt off and not really finding anything of value to me here for steamed shrimp & veg. Best I can find is steamed chicken and veg. I'm a lil OCD w numbers here so I try to be as accurate as possible. If the dish matches, I use chains like PF Chang's, to calculate something like say Shrimp Lo Mein (yeah yeah…

HRM that works on Plus-size & in water
Currently I'm at 250; I hve fibromyalgia, an injured disc or two, acute tennis elbow and terrible knees. :) Find exercises that am able to do that don't kill my back and put me on sedentary + muscle relaxers is tough. Pretty much I've got deep-end water aerobics, and step aerobics (I use the Wii balance board bc I'm a…

Step arobics...but using the Wii Fit board - help calculatin
So I'm trying to input my exercise, which is step aerobics done on my own (i.e. quite a bit faster than Wii Fit has you doing it) and the only choices for Step Aerobics are using boards that are WAY higher than the Wii's. The database lists as the smallest 6-8" rise. The Wii is only a 2" rise. I'm trying to google for…
