Women wearing a Polar HRM Wear-Link chest strap

The scant user guide shows it on a male - so I assume this goes right under my breasts? For those who use this type, what kind of bra do you wear? Because right where the guide shows that the transmitter part goes it right at the apex of my big underwire bra (I'm a DDD) and I can't see the two fitting together. Does this mean I need to wear a non-underwire sports bra when I use the HRM? Or would it go just under my regular bra?

I wear my strap right beneath the underwire of my bra so they pretty much link together.
  • mine goes under the wide strap of my sports bra
  • ditto this. but sometimes they fight each other and my strap gets undone on one side. P I T A !!!

Switch to wireless sports bra. My sports bra has its hooks in front, and is way comfy (but wire bras have always hurt me, so I prefer a soft bra anyway). Strap does go under breasts, with transmitter peeking out between "the girls"

I have the Polar F6 and wear a lycra sports bra I just use it to hold the strap in place more securely

I wear mine under my sparts bra. You may want to see if they have one for you. I have tried to wear mine under my regular bra and it is not very comfortable

I just wear it under the bra. Never had an issue.

I have the FT40 which has a transmitter unit that's bigger than the F6 strap, but it still fits nicely under the bra. I actually miss it when I'm exercising without it (which I do occasionally).

Mine fits neatly above the elastic of my sports bra which is kind of nice as it helps keep the HRM strap in place. Polar makes a sports bra that allows you to insert the strap into the bra, thus keeping it better into place. Of course, not all sports bras are made for everyone's shape, so lucky are those who fit into that particular brand.

Ahh silly Polar, fat chicks want to exercise too! Yeah the Polar bras are way far out of my league, or I should say, way under. Poo.

Ok based on all the responses I think that today I a: wore it too low and b: it wasn't snug enough.

Can I just say how badly I do NOT want to go shopping for a sports bra? LOL Regular bra shopping trips end with me a sweaty, grumpy irritable mess after trying on 16 to find 1 that's really good. :)

This is something I use after a buddy suggested it, dirt cheap and works a charm  Spectra 360 Electrode gel a small dab on the strap either side helps keep it in place especially when you do floor exercizes

I got mine in Ireland but I've seen it on Ebay & Amazon :flowerforyou:

I've had REALLY good luck with the Moving Comfort line of bras, and I buy them online. Their 'bra finder' online tool is actually quite helpful. Here's a list of their sports bras that come in DD/E sizes.

They're pricey, but I LOVE the two Moving Comfort bras I have.

HI, I just received my Biggest Loser Slimcoach and a Polar Wearlink, I rode my bike for an hour today (2- 30 minute segments to and from work). And it registered nothing. Are you kidding me, so right now I have 24% caloric burn but should be complete. They told me that it should link automatically and I shouldn't have to do anything other then wet the strips and put it on. Can anyone help me with what I am doing wrong.
