We're on vacay in Nova Scotia and I'm loving all our travels, but besides the lobsters, Digby scallops etc., we discovered a new carb sensation! Oat Cakes!!!! Not available in Jersey City and I'm already sad about it! You Canadians are sooooo lucky! I'm gonna need to find me a good recipe.

Fishing in Canada!
We drove up to Canada today (Lake Gananoque)! We will fish everyday and stop on a little island and fry up the fish in bacon fat and lard! Help with cholesterol please
My total was 222 HDL was 91 LDL was 141. All the other numbers were within normal limits. My doc wants me back in 6 weeks for another test. How does kale with garlic and olive oil have trans fats?
I found it in the data base and when I looked at the fats in it it had 14 grams of trans fat. How is that possible? Olive oil has no trans fat. It's the first time since joining MFP that I've eaten trans fat. I try never to have it.

Am I doing it right?
I joined 12/27/12. Since then I've lost 8 pounds. I set MFP so that I lose 2 pounds a week. I think I'm supposed to eat 1200 calories plus my exercise calories which are 600 per day.
