I would ask for hot chocolate and snow shovels. I'm in the Catskills so we aren't getting quite as bad. I just have to make sure I have plenty of gas for my snow blower and milk for hot chocolate.

I live in an apt so no snow blower.
I do have to fill the tub up and have plenty of candles on hand.
    Good luck!

    Oh.

I thought this was about Activision-Blizzard. I see it's about snow.

We don't get that where I live.

    I'll see myself out.

I can bring some bananas so we can put them in the snow (just like ice cream!). I don't know why I clicked this I have never intentionally been to New Jersey.

This storm definitely took a more eastward track than it was supposed to. In Southern MD I expected 1-3 inches but only got half of an inch. While this was a missed call by most, it's almost always hard to accurately predict nor'easters, as they are very complex. While NYC got far less than expected, I see reports of up to 1.5 feet over portions of Long Island.

Ooh fun! I'm snowed in in Brooklyn. I didn't get too many goodies-but I have 2 squares of chocolate left over from last night and some popcorn. I swear I'd bring you something better though! Maybe pie and ice cream.

I'm at the shore (AC area) we only ended up with about six inches but there's a sheet of ice under the snow, so its not much fun

I bet the weather forecasters were all men.

I'm at peace with all my flags today.

Whatever. Not funny. I live in Queens. If I leave now I will get there on Wednesday.

Have you been out and about much? I haven't even checked if the subways are okay. I think they shut them down last night.

Yea I'm out here working. It's still snowing. The snow is soft but obviously still annoying to trek through. The highways are cleans, the side streets still have snow on it. Big piles of snow everywhere which is going to make parking suck.

Are you an officer? I think we were friends on my old account and for some reason that's coming back to me. Stay safe. I went out this morning and found it just bad enough to be very annoying and glad I didn't have to travel to the UWS.

Not an officer. EMS. What was your old account?

sma5008 or something. I remember I posted about being harassed at the home depot in Gowanus and you responded about your sisters and a similar story? I don't know, it was back in August.

Ha! You were both from Queens, that's what it was. Got it.
