I thought this was about Activision-Blizzard. I see it's about snow.

If it makes you feel any better when there is a blizzard, I hang out with Blizzard. Killing my winters mildly for a long long time.

If you don't have to drive to work or anywhere pressing, getting snowed in can be decently fun. You know, so long as the weight of the snow and melting doesn't destroy your property. So far we've had a pretty mild one in western PA. Got like 7 yesterday but roads were fine by noon.

Stay warm!... and liquored up. Jameson & coffee are my go to's. Also would fire up a big pot of sauce for pasta... you know because I always have tomatoes and endless boxes of pasta on hand. Turn on netflix and binge something.

If I was in the neighborhood, I would definitely have come over for the Blizzard Party. I would have brought homemade nut goodie bars (super yummy, but not at all healthy) and apple slices with peanut yogurt dip (also yummy, but healthy) as well as a bottle of Kinky and some Sprite.

Being from MN, I am familiar with how miserable blizzards can be, so I'm glad to hear it wasn't too bad.

We'll be transplanting to NYC in a couple of years, after my husband finishes his MBA and the last of our adult children move out.

Whatever. Not funny. I live in Queens. If I leave now I will get there on Wednesday.

Have you been out and about much? I haven't even checked if the subways are okay. I think they shut them down last night.

Yea I'm out here working. It's still snowing. The snow is soft but obviously still annoying to trek through. The highways are cleans, the side streets still have snow on it. Big piles of snow everywhere which is going to make parking suck.

Are you an officer? I think we were friends on my old account and for some reason that's coming back to me. Stay safe. I went out this morning and found it just bad enough to be very annoying and glad I didn't have to travel to the UWS.
Not an officer. EMS. What was your old account?

sma5008 or something. I remember I posted about being harassed at the home depot in Gowanus and you responded about your sisters and a similar story? I don't know, it was back in August.

Not me. I think you have me confused with someone else that is obviously super awesome as well.

Ha! You were both from Queens, that's what it was. Got it.

Queens people are awesome. /nod :)

    You too?

    Yup.. Corona here :drinker:

The nut goodie bars sound really goodie!
Our party was lots of fun even though the blizzard never showed up. People brought wine, hot cheese dip, turkey chili, roast veggies and a homemade cake to have along with my contributions.
Afterwards, some of us went out for a great snow walk.
We're empty nesters who sold our house after the children moved out about 5 years ago and we are SO enjoying apartment living!
No snow shoveling or gutter cleaning-woo hoo!!!!!
