Have you gone to the doctor? I think you should be more concerned about dehydration and make sure that more serious things aren't happening to your body.

Everyone has given you great tips and support. As far as your mom complaining about extra meals, perhaps you can purchase some healthy items of your own to supplement or exchange in for the family menu. As everyone has said, all it takes is a deficit, but, you can add veggies and fruit to your diet when you cut down on the…

I would tell her that I love her and it would be really wonderful if she stopped the negativity even if she can't give you loving encouragement. Tell her you researched how to lose effectively and healthfully and you're doing your best. You are doing beautifully! You will be one of the ones who accomplish what you set out…

Most important is making sure you're weighing everything you eat on a food scale-if not, then you may be eating more than you think. Measure your caloric liquids and log everything!

Ditch the Slimfast! It's not sustainable! Make sure you're weighing all solids on a food scale and measuring all caloric liquids and log it all! If you are in a deficit, you will lose! Eat what you enjoy and what your body needs.

I respectfully disagree. I don't weigh eggs but I do weigh bread slices. I've found a large discrepancy in my bread weights! Some slices by as much as 50g!

What about iodized sea salt? I love seaweed salad but I have iodized sea salt everyday.

We live in a high rise in a city and our building gives out stickers to place on your door if you'd like trick or treaters. We don't anymore. We did our fair share for many (many) years and we're done for now.

I'm 62 and as long as I'm in a deficit, I will lose. Use a food scale to weigh everything you eat. I also workout for an hour a day cause I like to eat.

I need a more a more balanced approach. I tried low carb 2-3 times but always had the same problems with it. I had very low energy for my workouts, I missed all my fruit and other carby goodness like pasta, chocolate, onion rye bread, etc., I always developed "bathroom" issues and worse of all, I ended up nauseous over all…

If you're trying to lose weight, it's more important to eat at a deficit than to eat "super clean".

What are you eating before workouts?
-
As you lose, you should eat less calories. Have you adjusted your calorie goal to your present weight? Also, weighing your solid food and measuring your caloric liquids is more important than ever as you get closer to goal!

Please visit your doctor ASAP! Chest pain is nothing to fool around with!

Japanese hibachi & birthday cake for my son's 38th!

Weigh and measure everything you eat and only eat back 1/2 of your exercise calories
-
I had frozen shoulder and the pain improved with physical therapy and range of motion exercise. It's still not the way it used to be, but much better than it was.

I've never gagged with chocolate!

I soak overnight, pour off the water, rinse well and cook in fresh water. My Greek parents/grandparents always did it this way and it always worked for me. With lentils, I just pick through them, rinse well, then cook in fresh water. No soaking necessary. For added flavor, I sometimes cook in low sodium chicken broth!

MFP already has the deficit built into your calorie goal so you are meant to eat back some or even all of your exercise calories and still lose weight. If you ate 1200 calories and then burned off 500 and didn't eat them back, you'd only be eating 700! Not a healthy thing!

I'm on the elliptical for 65 minutes. I input my weight and the machine says approximately 500 calories burned (depending on my speed). MFP says I burn 562. I use the machine's burn but I only eat back 1/2 the calories unless I'm really hungry that day, then I'll eat back more.

This!!!! You are, in fact, underweight! If the bloating is truly bothersome, a visit to your doctor is indicated. Eating 1000 calories or less a day is very dangerous to your health! If you are against taking the above advice-you may have an eating disorder and so professional expert help in that field is needed before you…
