Body Fat Calculators and Hip Measurement
I know online body fat calculators are not 100% accurate, but I would assume they would give you a decent estimate? I naturally have wide hips and I am wondering if that is skewing my numbers somewhat. Or if I am perhaps measuring in the wrong spot. It states to take your hip measurement at the widest part of your hips.…

My son is having shoulder pain and swelling after bench pressing. He was fine the day he lifted, then he woke up with pain and swelling. The swelling is on his back at the top of his shoulder blade, just to the right of his armpit. I told him he should go to the doctor to get it checked out, but he wants to wait and see if…

Hibachi
We are going to a Hibachi restaurant on Friday. Their website doesn't have calorie counts for their food, but I'm thinking it isn't all that bad is it? I mean it's chicken, veggies, and rice. I know the sodium content is probably up there, but calorie wise how high do you think it is? And if you think it's high, any…

Les Mills Pump vs. ChaLEAN
I'm going to finish up Insanity in another month and was wanting to move on to a weight lifting routine. I have lifted before and know technique, lift heavy, etc. It's just easier for me to do it at home versus the gym and I think the DVD would help me stay motivated. Goal is weight loss and also would like to firm things…

Starting back up after Thyroid Surgery
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer the summer of 2011. I had surgery to have my thyroid removed in 2011 and underwent radiation a few weeks ago. I didn't exercise the remainder of 2011 as I was recovering and dealing with life without a thyroid. I exercised off and on in 2012 and kind of watched what I ate, but fell off…
