Protein Flour Tortillas

These are not extremely high in protein, but they are pretty low cal and higher in protein than a regular flour tortilla.

½ tsp baking powder
400 Grams 100% Liquid Egg Whites
60 Grams Flour
1/4 tsp salt

Whisk ingredients together. Spray pan with cooking spary. Add a little less than 1/4 c. of the mixture to the pan (swirl or use a spoon to spread it out as thin as possible). Flip over to cook the other side.

Makes 12 tortillas:
35 cals
4 g. carbs
0 Fat
4 g. protein

I use these to make homemade nachos. Cut the tortillas into wedges, spray with cooking spray and put in the oven at 400 degrees. Turn over 1/2 way through cooking. Bake until crisp.

I use about 4 tortillas and it makes a huge plate of nachos chips. I cover the chips with 1/4 c. cheese, 7 1/2 oz. cooked chicken, and homemade salsa. The meal is under 600 calories and has about 70 grams of protein. Yummy!
