Brownie Pancakes - lowish carb

Hidden calories in coffee creamers
I read this a while back and was really shocked by it. http://www.cspinet.org/nah/04_08/creamed.pdf Basically, it talks about how the manufacturer is able to round down the amount of sat fat, calories, etc on the labels. Combine that with the fact that a serving size is 1 tsp (who really only uses one tsp?). You may be…

The batter is pretty thick so I had to spread it a little bit once it was in the pan. It…

Baked Oatmeal
Baked oatmeal is a wonderful thing. It solves the texture problem for those who have trouble with regular oatmeal. And, you can make it ahead of time. I like to make one batch, and take a serving with me to heat up later at work. I got this recipe from a magazine a long time ago, I think it was "Simply Delicious", but I'm…

silly question about meats
Do you weigh the meat/fish/poultry before or after cooking? When I am adding a recipe on here, can I go by the meat package (i.e 1 lb chicken or whatever) or should I be weighing it after? Is a 4 oz portion of meat the before or after weight? Thanks!

Just signed up
Well, it's time to stop messing around. It's definitely harder to lose weight after baby #3 than it was the first, even 2nd time around. I consider myself a healthy person but after just a few days here I realize that even when I eat healthy things, I eat way too much. I think this system will really help me stay more…
