Battle of the Bloat!
I have worked really hard to lose my weight to look and feel great. I have a meeting next week and would love to look really fit for the closing dinner. The probelm is everynight around 4 pm, a weird bloat sets in. I look like I am at least 5 months pregnant! (which I am not). Any tips on battling the end of day bloat are…

Skin care!
One of the items I seriously struggle with is dry skin! My legs look like I am turning into an alligator. I am itchy! I drink a ton of water and put lotion on after my shower but it is not helping. Anyone have a great lotion/treatment they love that seems to help until my levels even back out?

Thanks Hungry Girl!!
So I was watching Hungry Girl on Food Network. She was advising that you could add volume to a frozen lean meal with some additions that are low cal so I tried it. I added steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots to lean gourmet. The sauce was not quite enough so I also added a bit of rice vinegar because it was a tad…

Ideas for those without internet access?
Well, my sister and mom are ready to get started. Problem is, sis does not have a computer at her house and works in a day care center infant room and does not have good access to the internet. (no smartphone). Does anyone have a good calorie tracking tool they can recommend using good old fashion pen and paper? Maybe a…

What is your favorite body part now and why?
Okay, so I have always been lucky enough to lose weight in my stomache first. (please don't shoot me!) But since I have been doing this, I have pretty much fallen in love with my chest. Not my breasts but my chest. I can't help but look at the curve of my newly seen clavicles and the hollow of my neck. I think it is…

Feels like bread lodged in my chest
Okay, so since Monday morning, I have felt like a slice of hard bread is lodged in my chest! It hurts! It is in the middle of my chest just under the breast bone. Food has not made it worse. It does not feel like a muscle. Water doesn't help. Any ideas?

Short and long term training advice
As my New Year's resolution this year, I did not resolve that I would lose weight. Been there, broke that. I decided this year I would resolve to train for and run in at least 2 5k races. I have started the couch to 5k program and I am really enjoying the process. I am, for the first time, enjoying and looking forward to…

Is it bad that..........
I am REALLY amused when someone asks me what I have been doing to lose the weight and I reply that I am eating right and working out and then they look disapointed that I did not have a magic bullet?

No control for a week! HELP!
I travel for work often. I have been out of my house for the last four weeks and I am going into week 5. So here is the problem. I am going to a 5 day meeting this week that is all catered, open bar, and banquet food! I will have no control as to what is available to me to eat. Of course I can control what I choose but my…

do you count your carry over calories?
Okay so since I got my HRM, I have noticed carry over burn. While my body is settling back down to a normal state, I burn like 100 extra calrories, FAST. Should I be counting those to eat back or not?

Losing but struggling
Okay so I am losing but every pound has been a battle. I eat. Trust me I eat. I am doing my cardio and I am hit or miss on some strength training. I am always under on my net but not by much. I should mention that I am hypothyroid that is not well under control just yet so my metabolism is still not firing like it should.…

Looking for new running shoes
Anyone have a pair of running shoes they love? I over pronate and have terrible knees. I had a lateral release done on my left knee in 09 and need the right knee done as well so support is essential!

Road Warrior needs support!
Hi all! I am ready to push on towards the last 50 lbs that have been eluding me! I have previously lost 90 lbs and kept 70 of them off! Even after having my son. I have taken a few years to just maintain and now I am ready to push off the last 50! I travel for work a lot and find life on the road tempting! Lots of eating…
