Extremely sore back
Well, i went and did it. Jumped up the Wii Active level from "easy" to "intermediate" and now i'm dying over here. its been two days and my lower back and hips and screaming. Its actually pretty uncomfortable to sit or walk. Anyone have any ideas on how to best work out the soreness without doing any lingering damage?

home gym versus dumbbells/ exercise ball
Anyone have a real strong opinion on which is the best route to go. I like working out with dumbbells, but could really push heavier weights with a home gym system. gonna keep doing cardio with my wife on the wii and walking, but would really like to start defining muscles as i continue to lose weight.

Week 1 Finished
Lost 7 pounds...not bad. Now on to weeks 2 and 3. These seem to be my toughest weeks. In the past, if I've done well in these weeks, I keep rolling. But I tend to "slack off" as the process loses its newness. Here's to powering through and meeting my goal: 50 pounds by Spring break.

huge difference in scales
staying in a hotel and hit the gym this morning...woo hoo. the best part was that the "professional" scales showed a huge difference in weight. LIke 40 pounds difference... two questions: 1) Is this normal? I tared the scales and everything. 2) Can I take these scales home with me?

Worried about Traveling
Due to get on the road for the first time this year. I'm due for an 8 hour road trip for work, beginning this afternoon.
