bruise/mild pain in wrist from push ups
Hi, I was doing a body weight circuit (mainly variations of lunges + push ups) and about half way through I began to experience some mild discomfort in my wrist. It didn't get significantly worse, however just before I finished I noticed a bruise forming on that spot on my wrist. (the inside edge where the skin folds if…

How long after being unwell do you wait to exercise.
Hi Guys, Just wondering how long people wait after being sick to begin exercise again. Also how intense/what type of exercise do people begin with. It would be great to hear what has worked for people in the past, and also if you went to hard/too soon those stories could be helpful as well. For the record I'm specifically…

fairy bread
I made some as a giggle for morning tea at work and realised it's basically the worst food ever! Basically white/wholemeal bread with 'butter' and sprinkles haha I was wondering if this was just an Australian thing like Vegemite and Farmer's Union Iced Coffee and thought I'd ask do other countries eat fairy bread??

crossfit
crossfit. crossfit as a vegan. Can you incorporate some crossfit workouts into an existing exercise program? While I realise crossfit has already been covered on the forums, any thoughts on the two following points would be greatly appreciated.

Baked Beans +
I thought it was a phase... but apparently its not. One day I tried Baked Beans (210g 1/2 can) on steamed broccoli + it was amazing! Since then I've branched out with wilted spinach, cauliflower, mushrooms, zucchini, salad greens and yellow squash (like zucchinis not pumpkin). All have been amazing. I've also tried celery…

Resources
Ok so I'm sure many people hear have websites they go to that offer workout suggestions, programs, new ideas etc. So I think it would be lovely if people could share them so we can all get some inspiration if we want. So I'll start off I've been using this site a bit. Note lots of the articles/advice/claims are rubbish but…

Spirulina

So I bought the powder Anyways I have not found that you can get tablets/capsules which are stuck together powder, which is what I'll be doing next cause drinking it in a smoothy…

A different take on water consumption problems
Does anyone else have a problem with hyperhydration? Meaning drink significantly too much water. Instead of loging glasses of water consumed, I log L. or water consumed. I've pretty much got it under control. Ok not under control its one of those things that I know isn't 100% healthy but while at the moment isn't creating…

Sugar intake
Do people actually achieve 24g or less of sugar a day. I'm already over today and thats from having all bran at breakfast, half an apple and cabbage based slaw for lunch. Thats ridiculous. I understand cutting back on sugar, especially refined and processed foods containing sugar, but the natural sugar in moderate fruit…
