Has anyone been able to transition to walking for steady state LISS after being a religious runner and found it beneficial? Any positive experiences?

9 months postpartum breastfeeding
So I've had a really good run in this second postpartum weight loss period, with the help of breastfeeding... But I'm afraid the point of adding calories for breastfeeding has come to an end. Sigh...time to adjust and accept a new stage :)
