Today was an excellent day in the Land of Weight Loss
This was the first week I ate back all my exercise calories, and I ended up dropping 2 lbs. That's the biggest loss I've had since my first month of changing my diet. Before, I would only partially eat back exercise calories, if at all (although normally, it's only about 150-250 calories burned). I also got under 150 lbs.,…

I lost a shirt. I think it's a sign.
I have a pink shirt that I really like, but I've lost it. The last time I wore it, though, it was kind of too big. A little tent-like. I would only wear it under a fitted jacket to hide the baggy bottom - the collar was my favorite part anyway. Losing the shirt made me realize it might be time to shed a few of the old…

I hate it when I forget to check the milk for freshness.
I wasted a whole cup of cheerios because I just poured and didn't smell first. D: It tasted so nasty.

I hope this week goes well.
This week, I'm eating back all of my exercise calories. I normally only eat them back partially. It's not a big difference since I only walk, but it is an extra 150 or so calories a day. I'm trying this because last week I had some stress, and ended up eating a bit over each day (but also exercised a bit less), but I had a…

NSV - My spine, it is there!
I have a very itchy back. It's genetic, I swear. Anyway, I was scratching my back, and I felt a bump! I freaked out for a second, and then realized it was just one of the vertebrae from my spine. In other words, I can feel my spine now without bending over. Weird little NSV, but hey, I was super happy about it.

Cold all the time?
I used to never be cold. I always appreciated the chill (and I still do) but now it seems like I'm cold all the time unless I'm exercising or have just exercised. My mother has lost a lot of weight and said she experienced the same thing (and that it went away after her weight settled) but I'm curious to see if anyone else…

Leftovers?
I had this tonight: http://abullseyeview.com/target-recipe-gina-homolka-skinnytaste-grilled-thai-sweet-spicy-shrimp-pizza/ It was delicious. Should have halved the recipe, 'cause now I have 7 servings to eat all by my lonesome. Om nom nom. Do you find you have a lot more leftovers since making changes to your diet? I used…

NSV - Bra band size! o:
I swear I measured myself twenty billion times to make sure. I currently wear a 40C, and it's become mighty uncomfortable over the past couple months. I should have done it earlier, but in too-critical fashion, I didn't think I'd really gone down the two inches needed to get to a 38. I finally get the tape measure out,…

I think my downstairs neighbor moved out.
The monthly event calendar is still stuck in his door, and there's no way to leave it hanging and open the door at the same time. Therefore, the door hasn't been opened for days. You know what that means... Dance Dance Revolution time. What are your favorite fitness video games? :D

NSV - My round face
I get an odd sense of motivation out of body-related things that I cannot change, and weren't the fault of my being overweight. Last week, it was my thighs. This week, it's my face. I have a round face. I thought my face was round because of my weight, but after a 24-pound loss (which really shows on a 5'1'' frame), my…

My banana. T_T
My banana didn't look bruised on the outside, but man, it was so bruised on the inside. I only got a half-banana today because of it. Sad times.

Yoga on Youtube?
I want to work on my flexibility, but I'm also cheap. 8D Does anyone have any good yoga/flexibility videos that they'd like to share from youtube or other sites?

I have a shape!
So, I was looking at myself in the mirror today, and I thought "Wow, my thighs are quite big - I never noticed that before." I then realized that I noticed my big thighs because I now have a clearly defined waist. 8D My jeans have always been super tight in the thighs, but now that's super encouraging because I know it's…

No longer obese!
I stepped on the scale this morning, and found myself in the overweight category. When I started, I set a goal weight of 130 - and at 180, that seemed so far away. 50 pounds! Now, I have less that 30 to go, and I am so amazed I've made it that far already. I still got to eat my chimichangas, too. I also love these…

It's amazing how...
...I can bum around, sit on the computer all day, and yet stay on track with losing weight. I even have calories for a small treat today. <3 I think I like this whole calorie counting thing.

Bananas?! D:
I went to the store - it's a huge supermarket (Meijer) with a huge banana section. They were out of bananas. I was totally craving them, too. Seriously, I was craving something that wasn't total junk, and... So, what have you been craving that you just can't have?

I met my short term goal
I'll get pictures once I steal "before" ones from my parents. 8D My short term goal was 160 pounds, or 20 pounds lost. Because I had never worked on so much weight loss before, I gave myself six months to do it, but managed to do it in just under 3 months. This is very, very encouraging to me. Also, I'm only .2 pounds away…

I weigh in tomorrow
It's my first time weighing in since switching to weekly after a particular demotivating weigh-in (I used to weight daily). I'm hoping for the best, but anxious for the worst. D: Am I being overly dramatic? Is it that TOM? Is my favorite color a mostly-green-teal-with-a-little-bit-of-blue?

Feeling motivated to do C25k - Questions
I want to try running - at my current state, I'm honestly no good at it, but whatevs. That's why I'm working on it. Two questions: Do you tend to do it on the treadmill, or on a trail? I prefer trails, although one is a good deal more winding and bumpy. Any benefits/detriments you could see with the trails? How do you…

I need a new food scale
I don't have one now that I'm all moved out and can't use my mother's. Recommendations? I'd like a digital scale.
-
I wasn't done reading that!
Two epic threads in Food and Nutrition. Unfortunately, I was only halfway through the second one before it got locked and deleted. Good news: It was about bacon.

A few little NSVs for today.
Three things I've noticed: Today, I could button the cuff on one of the button-up shirts I like. Before, it was uncomfortably tight, but now it's just right. I got into my car and realized how much room I had below the steering wheel. I'm a shortie, so I need the steering wheel to be low in order to see over it. xD Before,…

Baby spinach salads?
I bought way too much baby spinach for my sandwiches, so I'd like to make a salad out of the rest. It would be for a dinner, so it can be fairly substantial. What kind of stuffs would you recommend I add to my spinach? Dressing included - I don't have any dressing right now, so what would you recommend? I can make one if…

Anyone use a ninja?
The food processor thing that have been on infomercials? My parents swear by it, and recommended it to me because I need a new food processor. However, I need a second opinion because infomercials. Anyone else use it, have good/bad experiences with it?

Rewards?
What kinds of ways do you guys reward yourselves for meeting a certain goal (whether it's a scale-goal or a NSV)? Or, is meeting that goal enough of a reward in itself? I have a set of rewards for each ten pounds lost until my goal. I had two rules for setting my rewards: They couldn't be food-related, and they couldn't…

Logging before you eat?
Keeping up with my weight loss requires me to plan my meals. I've started logging parts of my day before I've eaten just because I know that's what I'm going to eat. Does anyone else do this? Would there be any reasons that this wouldn't be a good idea? I always update if something changes, but generally, it doesn't.

...Wow, that's actually a big portion.
I will be the first to admit that I'm extremely lazy when it comes to measuring my portions. I guesstimate like no other. However, today I decided to measure my cheerios, because hey, their serving size is a cup and at least that will be more than a serving of my Krave cereal. Turns out that a cup is a lot more than what…
