not huge weight lost but i'll take inches lost
weigh in and measurements today down 3lbs and 12.25in. for a total of 10lbs and 23in in 8wks. I wish I saw the difference like everyone else does. I know its huge and I worked really hard and everyone says they can tell, why can't I. no pics yet

can someone explain to me
why my up adjusts my cals with a neg number. seems it is taking more cals away therefore i am not eating as much. does this make sense?

pretty accurate
I used the jawbone and my fitness pal during a 3.5 hour hike this afternoon with my family (including a 5yo, lol) and the cals burned with each of them were within 30 cals. Map My Walk was 100 shy of what the other 2 said. Pretty impressive. And since it is mothers day, I get to eat JD chicken and shrimp for dinner…

weighed in today
31 days in and today was my first measurement day since i started. 4wks ago i was 154 (he subtracted 2 for shoes 152) and today i weighed in at 147 and went down 10.25 in. i sure do not see it in the mirror but the numbers speak for themselves. cannot wait to SEE the progress for myself. no pics yet.

MFP cals vs HR watch cals
MFP says i would burn 148 cals if i walked at a mod. pace but my HR watch says i burned 363. which do you go by? i have sometimes cut it in the middle and say 250 but just curious what you do?
