Does your HRM have a chest strap? If not I'd go with MFP's estimate. The reason I say this is, because if it is one of the ones you have to touch to get a HR reading it can estimate extremely high and also extremely low.
So say you start your workout, push the button and get a reading of 100. Now until you touch the button again it is going to think your heart rate is only 100bpm. So say the next time you touch it, its 150 bpm. Now the watch will give you a calorie burn as if your HR was a constant 150bpm till you press the button again. So on and so forth.0 -

it has the chest strap.
Then I'd go with the calories from the HRM. Or if you're not comfortable eating all of them, log only 70-80% of the calories. :flowerforyou:0 -
