How to keep motivated and get past mental barriers
How do you keep yourself motivated and get past those mental barriers? This morning I had a rough time with my workout b/c my mind kept trying to say that "I'm too tired". I know that if I had psyched myself up and/or just pushed through it, I wouldn't have sucked it up so bad... but what do you do in moments like these?

Morning, afternoon or evening workout and why?
What's your favorite time to workout? I like the mornings myself... once I get it done and over with, I can't dread it throughout the day and it gives me a pretty good boost to make it through the day.

Heartrate, How important is it
to keep tabs on your heartrate during workouts? My main goal is to burn fat and I know (I think) that my max heartrate should be @ 80% of my max heartrate which is 152. When I'm doing cardio workouts, I easily go over that up into the 170's and 180's. Should I continue with my heartrate going at those levels or tone it…

My MFP carb limit seems high and protein low?
The recommended daily carbs for me through MFP is 165 and protein is only 45. Does this sound correct? I'm actually aiming for more of a high protein/low carb "diet" and that carb count just seems excessive to me. Your thoughts?
