Low carbs special effect?
Hello everyone, So I've been on this wonderful site for almost 1 month so far and I feel great! However, I'm confused about the "low carbs" issue. Some people said that, for weight-loss, it doesn't matter what kind of food you take in as long as you're within you're set calorie intake (Note: I'm getting the nutritions and…

Diet/zero-calorie soft drinks?
Hello everyone! Now I know that zero-calories are not fattening at all so I was wondering if I can have like 3-4 cans a week and be safe? What is the downside to drinking those drinks when it comes to weight loss? Thanks for your help in advance! :)

Eating less or exercising and eating more?
I'm a 19yo 222lb 5'8 male. I was wondering which option is better for fat loss? My shape is too good for 222 pounds as I have built muscles in the past 7-10 years as I'm a soccer player but it all changed when I started university. (I guess my weight is mostly muscle weight) I burn around 3000 cals just by being alive and…

"Nutritious" 1200 calories?
So I've been reading about this thing called "Starvation mode". How true is it? I'm a 19yo 222 pound 5'8 ft. Male. My goal is 180-190 pounds in 15 weeks. I can easily exercise for an hour (leisure biking/brisk) while keeping the 1200 calories intake. Is that healthy? Note that the 1200 calories are coming from fruits/vegs…
