Loosing weight at too fast of a rate
So today I weighed in for my weekly check and was surprised to see that I somehow dropped 4lbs within that week. Can this be water? I have been on a diet for about 4 months so far and it has been within the 1-2lb/week range. What struck this random change?

Having me eat below my bmr
So today I went back to using the mfp app as a more convenient way to track my calories. I dropped 13lbs within the hiatus of not tracking with the app. My bmr as of now is about 1600 calories. Been getting mixed info from different places. Speaking in terms of muscle/fat ratio (not just strictly weight), does little to no exercise- all diet weight loss program decrease muscle mass? Just curious.

Is it okay to occasionally net below your bmr?
Today for the first time in weeks I managed to eat below my bmr, which is odd since today was sort of a cheat day.... 2 slices of dominoes cheese pizza *cough*cough* I managed to net 1379 with a goal of 1700. My bmr is around 1600. Today I exercised for about 30 minutes on my stationary bike. I am wondering will this 321…

1600 bmr; 1700 calorie diet??
So I was wondering how does myfitnesspal calculate their recommendations. My bmr is around 1600 cal and it gave me a 1700 cal recommendation. I know you're not suppose to eat under your bmr- and I avoid doing so, but can someone inform me as to how it calculates it? 5'7" female. Thank you!
