Been getting mixed info from different places. Speaking in terms of muscle/fat ratio (not just strictly weight), does little to no exercise- all diet weight loss program decrease muscle mass? Just curious.

Depends how much muscle mass you have to start with. If you're a sedentary person running 50% body fat, for example, pure diet will burn a whole lot more fat than muscle. Doesn't mean no exercise is the right choice.0
