Desperate for Motivation and Support for a 61 year old!
Alot of my mfp pals have met their goals and have left, some are on maintenance. I have been here for 601 days logging. Fitbit
I have had my fitbit flex for a couple of years and love it, but it breaks my wrist out. I was thinking of buying the fitbit clipon to use in it's place to use in my daily activities and use the flex for the pool. (When I get over my broken shoulder) Are they the same as far as recording steps?

Just curious how many members have cheat days??
I just don't think I would feel right about having one. I am satisfied having my 1400 calories a day and not eating back my exercise. I know they are there if I want them. I am also afraid if I start having a cheat day everyday will be one. I have seen alot of successful members that have one day a week.

This granny is going to swimming lessons!
I love water aerobics and do it alot. Back 150 lbs and 45 yrs ago I was a good swimmer. But, now at my age (and weight) I am alittle afraid of going to the deep end that there is no much of me to keep afloat! I have decided to take a refresher at our Wellness Center. Wish me luck that I don't drown!

Think I will sell my fitbit.....
RIght now I think I made the wrong choice on buying one. I just started my journey and there is no way I can do 10,000 steps a day. I had open heart surgery last year and need to lose at least 50 pounds before I feel comfortable on using it. I ordered a HRM today from Amazon and think I will do much better with that.…

Was on weight watchers for almost 3 months and lost NOTHING and stayed on program within my points. Went to a dietitian today (insurance company pays for 6 visits and encouraged me to go).
