Dance Off the Inches Latin Party Pack

Was thinking of purchasing this. Is it too much for an 'older' person? I need to get moving and thought this would help me. At least there are several dvd's to choose from.

None of the "dance off the inches" videos are very intense from what I've seen of them, and this one looks about the same.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tP-3ZAWHNss here's an everywoman review of the one you're looking at, just in case it helps. The actual content comes about 3 minutes in.

Hi, Craziecritter.... you're my age, 59, so I'm not going to let you get away with thinking of yourself as "older." I don't think of myself as old at all. I would look for this DVD on Amazon and see if there are any reviews. Try it out... it sounds really fun! :)

I am a Dance Off the Inches lover! I haven't done the Latin Party Pack but I can tell you that Amazon.com or SwapADVD.com are great places to find them cheap or in SwapADVD's case FREE (with trading stipulations but it's also an amazing site, I highly recommend that too). I do love to dance and consider myself well-versed rhythmically. You don't really have to be a good dancer so much as you just need to be able to keep the beat and count to 8. If you can do that, you're really golden. There's a Step Guide at the beginning of every single DVD to break down some of the tougher/intricate moves. There's usually about 3 10 minutes dances per DVD. There's also a warm up and cool down. I really do enjoy them b/c if a move is too intense for me, I just back it down (don't do it as "springy (for lack of a better word)"/don't pick your feet up just move your hips the same direction they're throwing them. I really think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread! And, if you aren't a particularly good dancer, you may learn something, I have actually taken moves from the Hip Hop video and used them in high school dance team choreography. My first one was the Line Dance Off the Inches so I'm particularly fond of that, plus you can get hip hop and belly dance anywhere...have you ever seen a Line Dance weight loss DVD before?! I love 'em, let me know if you decide to go with it. Hope you enjoy/this was helpful/I didn't bore you to death with my long-*kitten* post
