Alot of my mfp pals have met their goals and have left, some are on maintenance. I have been here for 601 days logging. Had a nutritionist who steered me the wrong way but have a new one now and I believe I might be on the right track. I am on 1200 calories and 120 carbs a day. I have had a few set backs between open heart surgery and then I broke my left shoulder bone this past July. I'm still recovering from that. This has been a long journey but you can see I am committed!!

I'm 54 and going through menopause. All my friends "had no problem with it" blah. I'm tired from hot flashes all night and I get tired exercising. I'm a bit cranky with myself and I just want to chill with my kids. Video games and popcorn are more fun than exercise. I could use some motivation too This is the 3rd time I've started over with mfp but I think this is the year I'm going to finally going to stick with it. If not all the weight, maybe just feeling stronger would be ok. Lets do this0

I'm 48 have had open heart 11 years ago now facing the possibility of a second one. Been struggling with exercise due to back and joint pain and plantar faciitis. Would like to lose 20 pounds by April. Hoping I can have a longer life than my parents and siblings. Oldest yet was 64. We can do this.0
