Tried some new recipes tonight -- this was absolute delish !!!! The chicken was so tender and juicy. The calitaters, OMG, cheesie goodness. The squash I fried on my NuWave cooktop -- so no oil or butter -- just some s&p. Total meal calculations: 404 calories 17 carbs 20 fat grams.

Learn something new about fruit
Today I did a quick green smoothie for lunch ..... 2 cups kale, about a cup frozen fresh pineapple, and about half a banana -- enough water to help mix things along ..... and my carb intake went way up -- but I am assuming those are good carbs from natural sources so not really worrying too much about my carb totals today.…

Goal met and EXCEEDED!!!!!
I am sooooo happy today !!! not only did I lose my 2 pound goal but went beyond that to lose and EXTRA 2 pounds !!! That's a 4 pound loss in this week !!!! Not a good start to the week -- had a smoothie with 4 strawberries, half a banana, protein powder, 1 cup 2% milk -- and it put me over my daily sugar count ?!?! Ah-ha moment
So this morning for breakfast I had 2 waffles with 4 strawberries mashed and 1 tbs unsalted butter.....that was 359 calories with 9 carbs and 7 sugars -- my usual breakfast would be a strawberry/banana smoothie with added protein powder which while only 279 calories it has 65 carbs and 38 surgars !!!! That is already over…
