Hi everyone..I'm new to this group. I posted a thread or in the main motivation and support section asking if anyone else was starting the program on Jan 1. I immediately was told it's a waste of my money and I have to change my attitude and now the thread got deleted. Is this a safe place to talk about it? Why the hate?

I bought a foot pod to track my speed/distance on the dreadmill but now I see from garmin connect that it gives me cadence as well. What's an ideal cadence? I know in biking what that is and why it helps you, but I'm not sure about running.
