Help with my food scale?
My food scale says it weighs in mL. The symbol for mL is a little water droplet. When I do that, it's the same as grams, so I assume that one is for liquid. When I want to weigh things like sorbet or sauce, I press it again and the droplet then gets an "M" in it and the measurements are different. Is that the mL for food?…

grams in a 1/2 cup of ice cream?
I have a scale and I measure out all my food but on my ice cream container it lists one serving as 125ml. Do I just use a 1/2 measuring cup and estimate? Or how do I find out what it is in grams?

Binging- but at a low weight?
Lately I've been going over a lot what with special occasions and stuff. By a lot I mean 1600-1700cal instead of my normal 1200-1400cal range. Today, however, I went way over, and am still going, and I may even hit the 3,000 mark. I feel guilty, and I'm wondering if this prolonged yo-yo eating will affect my weight?…

Calories burned with Walk At Home?
So I'm starting to do Walk at Home workouts with Leslie Sansone and I'm wondering how many calories would I burn on average? Right now I'm doing the 2 mile one. I'm 5'7", weighing 123-125lbs.

Questions about calories... Help
So I just went to Wimpy's Diner and ordered their salmon meal, which was an 8oz grilled salmon, Greek salad (no dressing), kernel corn, garlic bread and beef barley soup. I obviously overate and probably ate my whole calories for the day, but... will that affect my weekly goal? As long as I ate under 1600, which I need to…

If I eat 100 cals under maintenance...
So say if my maintenance is 1600 on average (I used several calculators and they were all in the 1600 range) and I eat 1500, would I lose weight.. albeit extremely slowly? Or would I sort of maintain? I'm a little afraid of maintenance, I'll admit.

Eating when not hungry - still under calorie goal
Is it normal to eat when you're not hungry? I'm still under my calorie goal 98% of the time, but I find myself often eating too much in one sitting or just nibbling on things, like carrots or granola bars. Is this bad?

It's Easter... How's everyone doing so far?
Has anyone passed their TDEE or goals because of family events and Easter dinners? I know I sure have. I guess going 200-400 calories over for 2 or 3 days won't do too, too much damage as long as you get back on track... right?

Binged at a funeral... Wrecked diet or no? Estimate help?
Every time I binge/think I overeat, I come on here for support because you guys are so motivational and nice, so I need a little help... I went to a funeral today and the food was simply amazing. It had stuff I never tried before and that I always wanted to (cough huge, calorific French macarons) and I went nuts. I feel…

Loss of period
Sorry, I don't want to gross anyone out :frown:, but I've been missing my period since I started eating less and changing my lifestyle. I don't know why and I'm a little scared for my health. A month or two ago, I was eating low amounts but I have since upped that... Could that be the reason why? I thought that'd have been…

How do people who don't count calories lose weight??
Seriously. This baffles me. I know people can eat healthily, like lots of veggies and lean meats and stuff, and that is probably why they lose weight without counting, but... what if they go over? Under? How do they not worry about counting calories? A bunch of my friends eat whatever they want and probably go over their…

Help with weighing food
So I just bought this new food scale. This will be my first time actually weighing food instead of using cups or measuring spoons. For things like peanut butter, do I measure them in something? Would just plopping it on the scale work just as well? lol

Feeling guilty
So today I had a day out with my mother and we went to this market that sold lots of pastries and other food. I had this cinnamon twist pastry (estimated at 220cal), this Asian salad (estimated at 290cal but I didn't use the dressing), a tiny piece of my mom's carrot cheesecake, 2 samples of small cake/bread, this dip, a…

Inconsistency with Quest Bars?
I got the strawberry cheesecake bar and it says 180cal on it, but every other resource, as well as the online store, says they are 160. What's the difference and why?

Confused about my Pizza Hut dinner?
So my friend and I got Pizza Hut for dinner. It was a large cheese only pizza. On the website, it says a serving is 1/8th of the pizza and is 360 calories, but the pizza that I got had 12 slices. I had 2. How would I count that?

My BMR is 1366 calories
Lately, I've been eating 1200-1300 calories a day and I feel fine, but I want to stop losing so fast. I switched my goals to 0.5lbs/week and my calorie goal for the day shot up to 1600. Needless to say, I'm sort of nervous about eating all of this food. Should I gradually go up? Will I gain at 1600?

Just finished my first Quest bar...
and it was okay. I had double chocolate chunk, but to be honest, it didn't taste as good as people said it did, and it left me with an upset stomach. Is it just me that feels sort of queasy after eating one? Any other flavours that taste better?

ALWAYS over my carb goal?
I'm always over my carb goal- and my sugars, but that's because I eat a lot of fruit and veggies- and I get nervous when it's in the red every. Single. Day. Does going over your carb goal nearly every day affect your weight loss? Feel free to check out my diary and let me know what I can do to change it up.

I look weird after losing so much weight??
So it may not seem like much, but I was around 150 before and I'm 125 now. I'm a 5'7" female. Now my ribcage shows, I can feel it when I wash my back, my collarbones show dramatically, but my tummy still has some chub on it, and my legs, too? I know all body types are different but I'm not quite liking how I look…

Opinions on Quest products?
So I've been looking into alternatives for protein since I don't get much of it. Quest bars are packed with nutrients, protein and are low in calories and they look soooo good. I've heard amazing things but also bad things... so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them? Are they worth the price? They are…
