How to say I'm re-committing without sounding like I've failed?
Because I don't think I've failed. I'm having some trouble getting back to losing, and I've gained some back over the last few years. I have my reasons. Personally, I'm a lot happier today than I was when I got to my lowest weight (198.9 or so at the end of 2014). When I started mid-2013 I weighed 299. Currently I weighed…

Been here, need to do better!
Hello, I'm Sunita from Anaheim. I've been here, and been successful for a while. I started at 299 in May of 2013, managed to reach 198 in May 2015, but have been struggling since that point and am hovering back around 207. Would love some new friends. I know I was able to make it work before but for some reason now I'm…

Protien Powders w/out stevia or sucralose
Hello all, I've been trying to find a protein powder that has no sucralose or stevia. I just hate the taste of these sweeteners, I am pretty sensitive to the taste of them, and I've tried qutie a few powders I had to throw out because of the taste of sucralose. Right now I'm using MLO but it doesn't disolve very well. I…

How to Make Proats?
I just wanted to know how you make proats. Do you add the protein powder before leaving it in the fridge if you're doing overnight oats? Or is it better with hot oats? Is there a good ratio of protein powder to oats and liquid? Thanks for any help!

What it looks like to weigh in every day for 6 months
Ok, so I'm posting this in case it helps someone else, because about 6 months ago someone posted this and it helped me. In August I started weighing in every day. The important part about weighing in is that you do so in generally the same conditions, but whether that is every day, every week, or every month really isn't…

Mini Goal Met!
No pictures, I don't see much of a difference yet, but I'm 25% of the way to my goal today! Well, like .4 lbs shy of it, but I'm rounding, and counting it! I'm excited! Anyway, this is the best I've ever done sticking to a plan. I've been focusing on walking about 10-12,000 steps per day, and going to the gym for a…

No-Blender Protien Shakes
I was thinking about buying a blender bottle next time I'm at Sprouts. I just can't take the clean-up involved with my blender, too much work, and I'd like to be able to have a quick shake after my workouts. Anyway, post up your favorite no-blender protien shake recipes!

NSV Aug 4th
So I had a little mini-vacation. My goal was just to not eat over maintenance calories, which I was successful at, and I also logged just about everything. I was honest, even though it looked like a high number, which to me, means I'm doing pretty well. Also have kept up pretty well with meeting my 10,000 steps a day goal.…

NSV July 28th
So since I got myself a Smart Activity Tracker, I've done over 10k steps every day! I started taking a walk in the mornings to get my step count up for the day, lol! It's been great! And today when I put on my pants for work, I could buckle the next smallest notch on my belt! Woo!!

Nutella!
What do you do with yours? I mix mine into plain greek yogurt for a delicious breakfast. DH spreads some on bread with peanut butter for a sandwich. Love to hear some more ideas, this is the first time we've bought it.

NSV July 7th
I completed my circuit training again this week. It is an NSV for me every time I get through that for now. Maybe it will become easier eventually. And Monday through today I've stayed under my calorie goal and met my personal macros goals every day so that's pretty good!
