Mini Goal Met!

No pictures, I don't see much of a difference yet, but I'm 25% of the way to my goal today! Well, like .4 lbs shy of it, but I'm rounding, and counting it! I'm excited! Anyway, this is the best I've ever done sticking to a plan. I've been focusing on walking about 10-12,000 steps per day, and going to the gym for a cardio/weight training circuit 3-4 times a week. Anyway, 41 lbs down, 123 to go :glasses:

  • great job! 41 lbs is a big success! it's so wonderful to feel excited about weight loss! i hope you continue to feel that excitement - it can be a great motivator when times get tough. i recently had a bit of a relapse into bad food habits and i think my best "re-motivator" was thinking about how it felt to see the numbers go down. i want that feeling again! and again and again!

    Great job! I like to think of it as a percentage to my goal too! Even after having lost 56# I don't see much of a difference in the mirror... I have taken pictures along the way & have lost two sizes from a 3X to 1X (size 24 pants to size 20) and that's where I see the most difference.

    Best of luck meeting your goals!
  • The numbers go down,
    the clothes fit more loosely,
    your eyes don't disappear when you smile
    chairs don't come up with you when you stand, and then
    you start a donation box for the too-large clothing,
    Small changes are awesome!
    Congratulations upon achieving one quarter of your ultimate goal!
    Here's to the vanishing of the next 41 pounds!
    Best wishes!

    Thanks all!

    @AleciaG724 that's really awesome that you've dropped from a 3x to a 1x! I was pretty solidly at a 2x and for the most part I'm now at a 1!

    And yeah, as much as people say don't worry too much about the scale, it has definitely been a big motivator for me. I'm just glad I've managed to stick to it pretty well for the last 6 months!
  • You are amazing!!! way to go thanks for being an inspiration. im kinda glued to that scale too but i dont wana be. until 6 months ago i never even used a scale now its my motivator as well. but im new to all this so im going to try some other things too like buy a measuring tape (trying my regular clothes on makes me upset)
