*cake in the conference room* -- 2 days in a row --
-- and both days, successfully resisted the urge. i can't hold out forever though -- :\ reminds me of the gaffigan skit here -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-o-u4IwXkbE cake = sugary carbs = CALORIES -- but it sure is a nice change from water -- :o

marathon done --
the time sure ain't pretty, but the calories are -- :) i would suggest a few towels under your butt, earplugs in, phone off, aandsome decent tv with subtitles. oh, and plenty of 1 minute breaks -- :)

my OTHER concept2 -- the dyno
i picked this gem up off of craigslist a few months ago. it's good for seated press, leg press and seated pull. it has a force meter, allowing one to try and match their prior force during the workout. they stopped making it in 2002 -- great machine though.

need ROWER / ERG friends -- 191 lb male, 5'11"
hi all -- I am on track with my daily diet (usually), though I really need to keep up with my ergometer schedule. Presently, on a perfect day, I'm up at 4:30, and row a half-marathon before work. At 21K meters, that's around 108 minutes, and 1,120 cals. Trying to keep it up 6 days / week. I've found when I miss that…

the best thing about half-marathon rows --
-- is knowing when i'm done, i can add "1,100 calories" to myfitnesspal, and get back in the black for the day -- :blushing: I use an ergometer, and for around 115 minutes -- time-consuming, but oh-so-worth it.
