37 Pounds Down ...Same Pants Size
So, I've been a little frustrated because I've gone down 37 pounds but my pants size hasn't changed. So, it's a little disheartening. I asked myself how that is possible while lamenting that I've worked so hard ( blah, blah, blah). Then it dawned on me. My pants were SO tight when I started that I had a gigantic muffintop,…

The Final Straw ( or in this case......button)
I have had more than a few "aha" moments over the decades. However, I think this is the final one. I was tired of feeling like I've worked out when all I did was hold my breath to tie my shoes. I was tired of going up the stairs at work and having the phone have the horrible timing to ring as I enter my office. Nothing…

I have a total of 100 pounds to get rid of ( My husband .. funny man...says…

Week 5 Weigh-in (Feb. 1)
Well, the scale has managed to go down finally for more than one week in a row, instead of back up and up and up. :) Lost another 2 pounds this week. Getting closer to returning to Onederland and eventually the 194 pounds where I left off before my bingefest of a couple of months. Back on track. :)

Week 4 Weigh-in (Jan. 25)
Well, I have finally turned the weight gain around. I have managed to lose 4 pounds this week. It was not fun. I ate well under my calorie goal (but never under 1200) for quite a few days in order to get out of the "shove everything in my mouth" mentality that I had adopted. I also drank way more water than usual (another…

Chipping away at regained weight...annoying :/
Well...I may finally be back on track. After a month or more of eating EVERYTHING in sight and not bothering to log, I think I am ready to do some damage control. I'm talking thousands of calories per day over my allotted amount and then not exercising to compound the damage. Due to stress (finding out husband is losing…
