Starting over after change in medication
Over a period of 2 years I lost 50 pounds as of December. I was pretty excited and didn't feel fat anymore, merely a little chubby. However, in December I started new medication for my bi-polar disorder and since December 15th my weight has gone up by 18 pounds. This has been very hard for me to handle since I worked so…

First NSV victory in a LONG time
Let me preface this by saying in a year and a half I lost 50 pounds. Then I met a boy who had lost 80 pounds. We got together a year ago and since then I've put back on 18 pounds. I've also pretty much stopped all working out in the past few months. So here's my NSV. Today, I decided to take a walk with the boyfriend (who…

Todays NSV - Lingerie :)
The boyfriend and I went online shopping for lingerie today... I hit the "plus size" button as per usual. However, as I was searching I realized I was no longer in that size range. So, I held my breath... clicked the "regular" button... and saw my size! I am now considered a regular size! I was pretty excited... and it…

VICTORY! 50 pounds gone!
I got on the scale this morning and I am officially 50 pounds down! I started on MFP a while ago but I only logged my weight. I had lost 30 pounds but was at a stall. So I started to log calories in January. Since then I have lost another 20 pounds. I have 22 pounds to go until I hit my goal weight. I started my journey in…

Exercise NSV
So today I started kickboxing again (I haven't done it in almost 6 years). I was able to do all the rounds (2 minute hard exercise, 30 second rest) for an hour. I even got into the ring and sparred for 3 rounds! I was pretty impressed with myself actually. Especially when the coach said, "I thought you wouldn't last 20…

First exercise NSV!
Today I ran for 15 minutes total. I face paced walked then ran every other 5 minutes for 30 minutes. This is huge for me as I haven't been able to run in goodness knows how long. My goal is to get back up to 4 or 5 miles a day at an 8 minute mile so I'm on my way! Way to start the day!

Not eating enough calories per MFP - suggestions?
I am having a hard time eating all the calories MFP wants me to eat. I just can't seem to get up to what they want a day no matter what I do. I always fall between 400-600 short. But I'm not hungry enough to eat and I don't want to eat if I'm not hungry. I know eating too few calories is unhealthy so I don't want to fall…

Here's what I'm eating: Hamburger Turkey Salmon Shrimp Eggs Greek yogurt Almonds Walnuts Mushrooms Celery Cucumbers…

What about tattoos?
This is my concern... the upper half of my back is tattooed and I got them at my heaviest (232 lbs). I didn't notice much change with my first dramatic weight loss (45 pounds), but I have 38 to go and I'm a little nervous. How much have your tattoos changed since losing weight?

New Year - New Me
Hello! A little backstory.. About 6 years ago, I was training to kickbox competitively. I was running up to 30 miles a week and I was at the gym twice a day 6 days a week. As will happen, life took an unscheduled turn and in 3 years I put on 70 pounds. Yes, 70. In 8 months, I lost 45 pounds and was ecstatic. But I did it…
