Let me preface this by saying in a year and a half I lost 50 pounds.

Then I met a boy who had lost 80 pounds.

We got together a year ago and since then I've put back on 18 pounds. I've also pretty much stopped all working out in the past few months.

So here's my NSV.

Today, I decided to take a walk with the boyfriend (who runs every night). Walking turned to jogging - and jogging turned into a block by block race to see who could go faster. Overall distance was a little more than 2 miles.

I haven't felt this great in a while. I was worried it would take me a while to get going again, but with the right running buddy I guess it's great :)

Not only is that awesome that you totaled two miles after taking months off, but completely adorable! Gaining in the start of a relationship is super common albeit frustrating.
