Meal Prep?
Hello! It has been awhile since I've posted anything, but I had the sleeve surgery on 12/16/14, had a 15lb regain and am trying to get back on track. I'm just finishing up the "reset diet" which seems to be helping and I have lost 10 of the 20lbs I'd like to lose to reach my goal! I was wondering if anyone does meal prep…

Getting back on track
Hey there! My name is Lena and I had the gastric sleeve on 12/16/14. My highest weight was 278, I was 250 the day of surgery and at my lowest I was down to 167 with my goal being 160lbs. It seems like I am forever trying to stay on track/get back on track with my diet and here I am trying again. I had gotten back up to…

Liver enzymes?
Hey guys! Quick question, Do any of you know if your liver enzymes have been elevated after having surgery? I am about 8 weeks out now and just had some labs drawn Friday, everything looks perfect except for my liver enzymes. They have been a little elevated ever since surgery but this time they are a lot more elevated,…

I had my 6 week follow-up appointment and everything is moving along well. Best blender/food processor for puree stage?
I am almost 3 weeks out from surgery now and feeling better every day :) This past week I started out on my pureed stage and have tried to avoid pureeing meats because my blender doesn't really get all of the chunks out. I have a nutri ninja and just feel like it isn't the consistency that it should be. Do you guys have…

Day 3 post-op
Today is day 3 post-op, came home from the hospital last night and it feels good to be home! Still having some pain but nothing too terrible, trying to focus on walking around the house and sipping on water. When I came home last night I measured out half of my premier protein drink to try to get some protein in for dinner…

Hi guys, I've been lurking around here for awhile reading up on your experiences to try to help myself get an idea of what to expect after surgery. Slow Cooker Ham and Lentil soup
I just tried this recipe from allrecipes.com, it was yummy and had a decent amount of protein for a lower amount of calories. I did add a can of diced tomatoes, used the lower sodium chicken broth, and I didn't have 11 hours to let it simmer so I cooked it on high for 4 hours, turned out great so I thought I would share!…

Night Shift Tips
Hey there, I am going to be going back to night shift starting next week (7pm-7:30am) Does anyone have any tips for dieting/eating right on night shift. What would you do?
I am so frustrated, I worked out a ton last week, wasn't perfect on my calorie goals going over here and there but not too bad, weighed myself yesterday (even though my weigh in day is today) and was 270.4 which mean I lost a few pounds for the week, I was so excited! But then this morning I get on and it says 273 :( I did…
