What's going on?
Before I joined MFP, I was lucky to get 800 calories a day. I wasn't hungry and had to force myself to eat just to get that much in. Since joining, I eat at least 1200 calories a day most days...never under 1000 though. I exercise as I always have....5 days a week, for 65-80 minutes per day. I've been working on eating…

Need HELP!
I just now made my food diary public due to the fact that I need little help with meeting my calories. The past week hasn't been great...we've been repainting and laying out new flooring/carpeting for the entire house, so I haven't gotten to exercise since everything is EVERYWHERE right now. I've tried to eat healthy, but…

Frustrated ...need b-fast suggestions
I am so frustrated right now. I woke up about 1 1/2 hours ago and am getting pretty hungry. Problem is, the people who I live with are asleep on the couch in the living room....at 9 am. Which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't get up at 4am every morning. They are both on vacation this week, and still get up at 4am...then…

Feel like crying...
The past 2 weeks, I've been making sure I am getting 1200 calories a day. I have been doing the 30 Day Shred 4 days a week, and the treadmill at a 4.3 mph pace on an 8.0 incline for 4-6 miles 5 days a week. I eat healthy, my fat intake is HALF of what is recommended. Everything else is JUST below, if not right at the…

Laughing Cow Cheese
I just got it for the first time today, and must say it is pretty good. I got the lite garlic and herb. I ate part of a wedge on a few wheat thins. What are some other things people use it on that would be healthier?

Feeling guilty
I am so used to only eating 700 - 800 calories a day and since I've joined MFP, I've been working hard to have at least 1200 a day, which I've only met 2 or 3 times. . I never eat back my exercise calories... but even so, I feel like I am going to gain so much weight eating 1200 a day. Is this fear rational? I mean, when I…

non-protein foods
Since I work tonight, I've already logged in the food I will be eating for dinner and a snack. I have almost 400 calories left for the day on a total of 1200, but am -6 on protein. I've eaten 4 fruits already and 2 veggies. What are some good, nutritious foods that do not have protein or very little?

best thing to eat after cardio workout?
I've heard that you are supposed to eat a little something directly after a workout. I've heard protein, and then I've heard carbs. Does it matter? Which is better? Why?

Question on Sugars
I just changed my setting to show how much sugar I should be consuming, and for me, it is 24 g. I nearly doubled this today!!! (at 50g) BUT...I had an apple and a banana....which was 24g alone (12 each) That doesn't leave anything for the rest of the day, and it was FRUIT?!?! I am WAY under on everything else (I still have…

Jogged for 20 minutes!!!
I am the type of person who gets in to a routine and likes to keep it. I guess I am stubborn that way. My routine for YEARS has been walking at 4.0-4.3 mph on a 7% incline for 60 minutes. Today, I decided I was going to break this routine and change my workout up a bit on the treadmill. I ended up jogging a total of 20…

weigh in tomorrow
My second weigh in is tomorrow...and I am kind of nervous. I have done really well all week,..exercising 5 days this week for at least an hour each day at a high intensity. My calories were around 1000 each day (under, I know...especially with the exercise) and my fat and carb intake was below what was recommended. I…

Hi All!!!
Hi everyone! My name is Ashley, 24 years old and from Ohio. I am 5'4, 140 pounds (a lot of it in my DD's...HA...) I know I am not seriously overweight...in fact, I am at the very top of what is 'healthy' for my height. The reason I am trying to slim down is because 1. I want to be healthier 2. I want to feel more…
