Why am I losing weight instead of gaining weight
For the past 3 weeks I've been bulking and I've been gaining weight in small chunks and then going back down. I've been doing weight training 5 times a week. I've been having 2600 calories a day.Should I increase them by 100 or more to be gaining at least 1lb a week?

Can you build muscle on a caloric defecit?
I've been cutting for just over a month and people have been telling me I've gained muscle. Have I gained muscle or is it just because my body fat has decreased and my veins are more visible? Also I'm thinking about bulking up from September.How long should I do it for without gaining too much body fat? Thanks :smile:

This week I've lost just over 2lbs when my goal is to lose just 1lb. I've been doing intermittent fasting and it's been great. Should I increase my calories in order to make sure I don't lose my muscle?

Is it ok to eat whatever the hell I want?
With Intermittent Fasting,can I eat anything I want until I hit my caloric target which is 2,200 calories? Is it possible to still lose body fat even if I eat unhealthy foods to my target. I do cardio 3 times a week and do weight training 4 times a week.

Does Intermittent Fasting work?
Hi I'm new to MFP and a teen bodybuilder (been into fitness for 2 years now). I'm 5"11 162lbs w/ 11%. I've lost 6lbs so far. Does Intermittent Fasting actually work to reduce body fat? I started today and felt totally fine with it. Also how much more weight should I lose to get to 8%?? Thanks :smile:
